The Orisha Eshu, has many aspects to himself… He is the trickster, the jokester, but also in charge of opening all the roads. He is the first orisha we pray too, and make offerings to in order for our prayers to be heard. He knows all, past, present, and future. He is the one you call upon to change your circumstances, can bring you all of your wishes if petitioned in the right way! You receive this Orisha by receiving the warriors in La Regla De Icha, also commonly know as “santeria.” The other Warriors are Ogun, and Ochossi, who live together. Ans Osun, who watches all. Some say Eshu is an aspect of Ellegua, but it can be more seen like then yin and yang. They are two different types of energies.
